This event will also celebrate this wider 12 month cultural heritage project, which has included a pop-up roving exhibition, creative intergenerational workshops celebrating the crafting of the time, short films and, soon-to-be released digital storytelling pieces featuring oral contributions from fans alongside photographs and new portraiture.

Sunderland ’73: The People’s Visual History project was commissioned by NEPN at University of Sunderland in partnership with A Love Supreme, Foundation of Light, The Cultural Spring, Back on the Map, Stitch and Bitch Sunderland.
